Nickel is hosted in magmatic sulphide systems and in lateritic profiles weathered from ultramafic rock. In MineDSS it is modelled within our nickel-cobalt system, which reads a chromium-cobalt-sulphur signature and is validated nationally across Australia, the United States and Canada. Elsewhere in the world our global model maps nickel directly.
